Uma Joshi

Uma Joshi, holding a Ph.D. in Psychology from the University of Rajasthan, has an illustrious educational background, including an M.Phil. and M.A. in Psychology, a Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management, and a B.Sc. in Home Science with honors. Currently serving as a Professor Adjunct at the Department of Psychology in both IIS University, Jaipur, and Banasthali University, she brings extensive professional experience. She has held significant roles, including the former Dean of Humanities, Social Science, and Liberal Arts at Amity University of Rajasthan, Director of Amity Institute of Behavior and Allied Science, and Head of the Psychology Department at Banasthali University and Mody University. Uma Joshi has a robust research background, serving as a Research Supervisor at IIS University and a Research Guide at Banasthali University, Amity University, and IIS University. Her research contributions include numerous papers, articles, chapters, and books, with a notable project funded by UGC on teaching life skills through storytelling. As a professional consultant, she has played a pivotal role as a State Level Trainer for Life & Soft Skills, Consultant Psychologist for an initiative sponsored by the Michael and Susan Dell Foundation, and an Advisor Psychologist for state and central government recruitments. Uma Joshi has received accolades, including a SILVER MEDAL for the Best Academic Career in humanities and THE BEST TEACHER AWARD by Lions Club, Ajmer city.
