Dr. S.T. Rajan is an accomplished researcher, professor, mentor, and academic leader with over five decades of experience spanning scientific research, higher education, sustainable technology, and community development.
A PhD from IIT Kharagpur and a U.S. Fulbright Scholar, Dr. Rajan has developed specialized expertise in High-Temperature Solar Thermal Energy and Sustainable Technologies, with a particular interest in solutions for remote and rural communities.
His distinguished academic and research career includes leadership and teaching roles across leading institutions in India and international assignments in the United States and Uzbekistan. His contributions include research publications, conference presentations, patents, academic mentoring, and PhD guidance.
At International Hindu University, Dr. Rajan serves as a Director and Dean, bringing together his scientific background, academic experience, and deep interest in traditional Indian knowledge systems. His areas of interest also include Sanatan Dharma, Yoga, Vastu Shastra, Acupressure, Naturopathy, Ayurveda, and Tamil Siddha Therapy.
He is passionate about mentoring the next generation of scholars and currently contributes to IHU's Research Methodology program for aspiring PhD scholars
