Dr. Prema Sundara Rajan is an accomplished educator, counselor, and academic leader with 45 years of experience in education, counseling, and life-skills development. She holds a Ph.D. in Education specializing in Adolescent Mental Health, along with master's degrees in Applied Psychology, Education, English, and History, a B.Ed., and a Post Graduate Diploma in Guidance and Counseling from NCERT.
Her distinguished career includes teaching and academic roles at Miami Dade College, the University of Miami, and Broward College in the United States. She has also served as a national consultant in Life Skills Education for UNICEF, UNFPA, and WHO-SEARO, contributing her expertise to education and youth development at an international level.
Dr. Prema has made significant contributions to adolescent education through television programs, teacher-training modules, counseling, and educational initiatives. Her dedication to teaching and educational excellence earned her the prestigious National Award for Best Teacher, presented by former President of India Dr. Shankar Dayal Sharma in 1995.
