Dr. Chaman Lal Raina is a distinguished scholar, author, poet, researcher, translator, and spiritual thinker whose work bridges classical Indian wisdom and contemporary comparative thought.


He holds a PhD from the University of Kashmir in Hindi and Iqbal Studies, where his research explored the comparative philosophies of Sri Aurobindo and Muhammad Iqbal. His interdisciplinary academic background encompasses Sanskrit, Mathematics, English, Hindi, and Urdu.


Dr. Raina's scholarship and writings explore profound traditions including Shaivism, Shakta Agamas, Tantra, Yoga, and Indian Philosophy, with particular interest in the Dasha Mahavidya, Shri Chakra, and Shakti traditions. His published works include Trika Vaibhavam, Quintessence of Shakti Tattva, Durga Sapta Shati, and Shakti Upasana.


His academic career includes teaching Research Methodology, Religions of India, Goddesses of India, South Asian Studies, and Sanskrit, as well as Yoga, Meditation, and Vedic Studies in India and the United States.


A multilingual poet writing in English, Sanskrit, Hindi, Urdu, and Kashmiri, Dr. Raina brings together scholarship, literary expression, and spiritual insight. His contributions include the Kulageetam, the IHU Anthem, reflecting his deep commitment to preserving and sharing India's rich cultural and spiritual heritage.
