About
Dr. Uma Joshi is a distinguished psychologist, educator, researcher, and academic leader with extensive experience in higher education, behavioral science, life skills, and human development.
She holds a PhD in Psychology from the University of Rajasthan, along with an M.Phil. and M.A. in Psychology and a Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management. She currently serves as a Professor Adjunct in the Department of Psychology at IIS University, Jaipur, and Banasthali University.
Throughout her academic career, Dr. Joshi has held several leadership positions, including Dean of Humanities, Social Sciences and Liberal Arts at Amity University Rajasthan, Director of the Amity Institute of Behavioral and Allied Sciences, and Head of Psychology at Banasthali University and Mody University.
Her research and academic interests include psychology, life skills, soft skills, behavioral science, and human development. She has contributed numerous research papers, articles, book chapters, and books, and has served as a research supervisor and guide across leading universities.
Dr. Joshi has also contributed as a Life & Soft Skills Trainer, Consultant Psychologist, and Advisor Psychologist for educational, social, and government initiatives. Her work reflects a strong commitment to empowering individuals through psychology, education, and life skills.
